Taiwan is fortunate to have a robust semiconductor technology industry established, driven by visionary leaders who have spent decades propelling the nation to the forefront of the AI revolution. TSMC stands as the global leader in the advanced semiconductor industry, and over 90% of Nvidia GPUs are manufactured in Taiwan, cementing the country’s indispensable position in the world of AI. In his Presidential Inauguration Speech, President Lai of Taiwan pledged to transform the nation into an ‘artificial intelligence (AI) island’ by ensuring a reliable power supply and investing in the development of supercomputers.
