Recent work has been aimed at going beyond Wave 2 ideas of model confidence, fundamentally re-evaluating the concept of certainty as it applies to aerospace applications. Prior to coming to GE Research, Dr. Ardis worked as a Research Scientist contractor in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory (RIEC) and as an Associate Research Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology.
